Join the KWS and special guests to explore a world of symmetry, pattern, and the intimate relationship between mathematics and music, with a focus on the beauty and elegance of geometry and its most passionate apostle, the late Donald Coxeter. Regarded as the greatest geometer of the 20th Century and one of Canada’s mathematical heroes, Coxeter’s influence is far-reaching. In the tradition of “Beethoven and Your Brain,” and “Quantum: Music on the Frontier of Science,” this concert is the latest music/science collaboration in the Intersections Series.
