Chicago is our kind of town

Two years ago the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Volunteer Committee sponsored a hugely successful trip to New York City. Building on that happy event and with the cooperation of Bullas Travel, we are pleased to invite you to join Maestro Brian Jackson on a fun filled 5 day motorcoach trip to Chicago, September 23 to 27.

A relaxing bus trip features a stop at Fair Lane, the mansion home of Henry Ford and ends at the 4 star Doubletree Hotel Chicago, Oak Brook, where a private cocktail party awaits. Fair Lane
Elks veterans memorial The trip will include extensive tours featuring highlights of the art, history, architecture and culture of Chicago - see the magnificent Elks Veterans Memorial and the Tiffany Dome at the 1897 Cultural Center. Tiffany dome
John Hancock Center A river cruise is followed by the view from the John Hancock Center and a driving tour of Oak Park features a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio. Frank Lloyd Wright home
Orchestra Hall in Symphony Center There are museums and of course there will be music. You'll have a special tour of the Symphony Center, a dinner and cabaret show at the Drury Lane Theater and a yet to be determined evening musical feature. And don't forget Brian Jackson!

There is a lot more. You can see the full brochure with full details of the trip, costs and booking information at this Adobe Reader file. For more information please contact Gale at Bullas Travel, telephone 519-578-7740 or 1-800-565-1133.

And a portion of the cost goes to the K-W Symphony Volunteer Committee to help support the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony!
