Each and every season the KWS must raise $1.8 million in contributions from people, companies and private foundations.  It is your generosity that ensures the KWS continues as a vibrant, core cultural organization for Waterloo Region and beyond.

With your support, the KWS will continue to create ambitious and innovative concert experiences that inspire and entertain, be a training ground for future musicians and be the foundation for audiences of tomorrow.

• Inspire and entertain audiences with 130 concerts each season
• Employ 52 professional musicians who perform, teach and contribute to a higher quality of life for our communities
• Bring today’s great artists to Waterloo Region and beyond
• Send musicians into area classrooms and bring over 12,000 students to the Centre In The Square as part of our free-of-charge Schools Concerts Program
• Nurture a future generation of professional musicians through our 5-ensemble Youth Orchestra Program
• Provide free music instruction to at-risk high school students as part of our Pathways to Education after school program
• Support local performing arts organizations in the presentation of music, theatre and dance at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts
• Donate tickets to charitable organizations across the Region through our Heartstrings program, ensuring access to KWS performances for those who would otherwise be unable to attend
• Nurture our young audience through our Kinderconcerts and Family Series
