This is a tenure track position. The winner of this audition must be available to begin to work on September 18, 2022. 

National Auditions:
Wednesday, December 8, 2021 in Kitchener, Ontario

Highly qualified applicants who wish to secure an audition time are required to send a ONE-PAGE resume together with a $75 deposit cheque or bank draft by the application deadline.  The deposit cheque should be made out to the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and is refundable only for candidates who attend their audition time.

All audition candidates are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 at the time of the audition, and will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination at the point of entrance to the audition venue.  Fully Vaccinated status is achieved 14 days after having received the full dosage required for COVID-19 vaccines currently approved for Canada.

The KWS is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities and for those with documented medical exemptions to the COVID-19 vaccine.  Accommodations will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under KWS’ Recruitment policy. 2021-2022 Season:  35 weeks

Salary: $1298.51 per week
Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation
Benefits: extended health and dental, life insurance, employee assistance plan
Pension: 8.25%

Candidates are responsible for travel and all associated costs of attendance at the audition.
