This is a tenure track position. The winner of this audition must be available to begin to work on January 12, 2020 for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season.

National Auditions: Tuesday, November 5, 2019 in Kitchener, Ontario

Highly qualified applicants who wish to secure an audition time are required to send a ONE-PAGE resume together with a $75 deposit cheque by the application deadline.  The deposit cheque should be made out to the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and is refundable only for candidates who attend their audition time. 

The KWS is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities. Accommodations will be provided in all parts of the hiring process as required under KWS’ Recruitment policy. Applicants are asked to make their needs known in advance at the time of application.

2019-20 Season:  35 weeks

Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation

Benefits: extended health and dental, life insurance, employee assistance plan

Pension: 8.25%

Candidates are responsible for travel and all associated costs of attendance at the audition.
