Governance Policy:

The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony (KWS) is governed by an 18 member volunteer Board of Directors elected by its membership.

The Annual General Meeting of the KWS membership is held each Fall.  Members are encouraged to attend and are welcome to ask questions.  A member is defined as an individual or corporation who donates the minimum gift recognized amount annually.

Annual Reports and Financial Statements are distributed at the Annual General Meeting and are available to members upon request.

Minutes of KWS Board meetings are available to be read at the KWS offices, based on a request from any member.

As a community organization there are many opportunities for involvement.  If you are interested please ask us about our Board, our Board committees, the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Foundation and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Volunteer Committee.
