The Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Pays Tribute to Nat King Cole for an Unforgettable Evening!

Canadian vocalist Denzal Sinclaire joins the KWS for the Nat King Cole Songbook on November 4 at 8 pm and November 5 at 2:30 and 8 pm at Centre In The Square. Led by KWS Assistant Conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser, the Orchestra will play some of Nat King Cole’s most memorable music, including Unforgettable, Route 66 and L-O-V-E.

Canadian performer Denzal Sinclaire began his musical career playing piano, later becoming a singer and moving to Montreal from Toronto to study jazz performance at McGill. He is known for his smooth voice and has worked with renowned artists like Holly Cole, The Count Basie Orchestra, Jamie Liddel and more. Sinclaire has worked with the KWS before, performing during the 2008/09 Season.

“Nat King Cole is an artist who endured much throughout his life and created incredible songs that we all love as a result” commented Bartholomew-Poyser. “His music touches the hearts of millions daily and has an enduring effect on the musical soundscape in which we live. Our concert features Denzal Sinclaire, a renowned Canadian musician, who faithfully presents the music of Nat King Cole to audiences around the world with joy and spirit.  This concert is sure to be unforgettable!”
