So Many Colourful Leaves

Toby, an Anishinaabe boy living in the city far south from his Nookom up north, has a new friend Zenon who recently arrived from Mexico. Together, the two boys enjoy playing, singing and dancing around in the colourful leaves that are falling from the trees in the local park in their neighbourhood.

Snow People

Farah, who recently arrived from Syria with her large family, wakes up one morning to fresh snowflakes falling and meets her next-door neighbour, Aput, who is Inuit from Nunavik. Aput loves to sing and shows Farah how to make shapes of people and animals in the deep snow of their small backyard.

Dancing Butterflies

Wapun and Kisik, two Cree girls, are excited about the new student in their class, Parveen, who recently arrived from India and loves to listen to music and dance. Wapun and Kisik invite Parveen to join them at the after school powwow, where all three girls share their own ways to dance just like butterflies.
