Orff: Carmina Burana

Celebrate the end of Andrei’s first season as Music Director with Carl Orff ’s monumental Carmina Burana, featuring the famous chorus, O Fortuna. The piece plunges us into the carnal excess of medieval ritual and vice, and with an enormous orchestra, choir and a cast of outstanding soloists, it’s a truly awesome live concert experience!

Violinist Benjamin Beilman returns to the KWS stage for Prokofiev’s lyrical and classical Violin Concerto No.1. Canadian composer Éric Champagne’s Vers les astres will showcase the Orchestra’s virtuosity.
