Canadian virtuoso pianist Marc-André Hamelin, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, is recognized around the world for the originality and technical proficiency of his performances. He joins the KWS for Haydn’s lively Piano Concerto No. 11 and Strauss’ witty Burleske. Explore what may lie beyond this world and the dichotomy of life and death in Strauss’ transcendent tone poem, Death and Transfiguration.

In accordance with Government of Ontario policy, this performance has no capacity limits with non-socially distanced seating. No concessions will be available, and masks must be worn at all times on the premises, including while seated. Proof of vaccination is required to attend for those over the age of 12.

Tickets and Seating:
All 2021/22 season concerts are single tickets only, no subscriptions are available.

Please note:
Unless otherwise stated, all KWS performances in the 2021/22 Season will have no intermission and there will be no Preludes prior to Signature Series concerts.
