Dancing Butterflies

Barbara Croall, storyteller
KWS Musicians

All stories are originals by Odawa First Nations storyteller Barbara Croall.

Wapun and Kisik, two Cree girls, are excited about the new student in their class, Parveen, who recently arrived from India and loves to listen to music and dance. Wapun and Kisik invite Parveen to join them at the after school powwow, where all three girls share their own ways to dance just like butterflies.

Doors open 30 minutes before each concert for children and parents can participate in music activities provided by Music for Young Children. Stay after the concert to meet the performers and their instruments!
