Baroque & Beyond

Innovators Through The Centuries

Andrei Feher, curator & conductor

Mozart: Symphony No. 1 in E-flat major
Corelli: Concerto Grosso in F major
Bartók: Divertimento for Strings

Curated by new KWS Music Director Andrei Feher, this program invites you to experience everything from Corelli’s Baroque refinement to Bartók’s folk influences with his fresh treatment of Hungarian peasant songs in the Divertimento for Strings. Mozart’s First Symphony, written when he was only eight years old, is an interesting early example of the symphonic form.
